At over 130 kgs, I was heading for an early grave. I knew I needed to do something about the situation but I completely lacked motivation. My goal at first was simple, lose weight, and maintain it around the 100kg mark.
The resistance training Daniel introduced me to was completely new to me. I didn’t realize at the time that this not only builds muscle but also keeps calories burning for longer than regular cardio exercise does. To this day I still make sure I get enough protein in my diet as I understand how pivotal that nutrient is for the body.
